Great food and lots of fun! Our chef was excellent and humorous. Do not be fooled by the strip mall entrance, the inside is very nice. Definitely recommended.

The only way I'd like tbis place more is if they had a license to sell alcohol (its byob) but the service and food were great and we had an amazing time. My kids love the show and I loved the steak and lobster, highly recommended spot!

My wife and I use to visit a Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi bar in Chambersburg PA with the same name, so we were surprised when we spotted this restaurant after moving to the Altoona area. We've stopped in a few times on "dates" and really enjoyed the food. I love the sushi, and my wife, who is not a fan of sushi, is always able to find something she enjoys. Recently I brought my youngest daughter here on a daddy-daughter date and we did the Hibachi. We had a great time, and the food was wonderful. The amount of food is good as well, allowing us to have leftovers for later. The hibachi is great for a group of people (we'll bring the entire family), or is you only have a small party, you have the opportunity to sit and meet new people. The staff here have always been pleasant and very helpful.

This is my third time here. Each time I’m in the area I make a point to stop by here. We haven’t tried the hibachi (though I hear the accolades about it!), but we get the sushi each time. This recent trip we got a few apps and the chef’s choice on 9 pieces of sushi. The spring duck rolls were SO good, the money bags are always a favorite, and we haven’t had a piece of sushi we disliked in the slightest. Service here is always fantastic. This past time we sat up at the sushi bar and it was cool to watch the assembly of it all. I WILL come back every time I’m in Altoona!!

The menu, wow. Hard to make decisions, almost too many choices. Got octopus appitizer, was so good. We each ordered raw roll, I got Summer Breeze so delicious. Worth the trip, oh and they have Sierra Mist in the soda fountain
